The Break Takes Off

A Break

Those of you who get my newsletters will know. I wrote this little book as a distraction and break from working on my next WWII book, The Truth is Different. It promises to be a doozy, since the heroine did not have an easy life. Not at all.

So I wrote God’s word, for Real. Took me a couple of weeks, primarily because it’s based on blog articles that I wrote a long time ago. However, I made the book teen-friendly and used AI (yes, I did) to generate the drawing at the beginning of each chapter. There was no launch, and I did no promotion.

It Took Off!

Imagine my surprise, then, when, only a couple of days after the book came out, someone ordered 35 copies to be distributed to a youth group. Well, I wasn’t very surprised since it was my mom. But she’s never done that with my other books.

Then, I got an email from a man who’d read it and wanted to purchase 50 copies to give away!

So, the little book that started as a break is taking off. Try it. You might like it, too!
