If you’re my age, you’ll remember a hilarious commercial for Alka Seltzer where a man is being told, Try it, you’ll like it,” repeatedly, until he does.
His response after tasting the food is, “I thought I was gonna die.”
Try it!
Well, a year or so ago, my friend told me he’d joined Podmatch and recommended that I try it. I asked him if he even broke even in increased sales after paying for his membership. He said he would let me know.
So, after thinking about it, I decided to try it. After all, social media does not work for me. People may have lost interest in Facebook, Linkedin, X, and Instagram. I know I have! I always sell best in person. The trouble is that, when a person pays for a booth, travel, and more, making a profit is more a dream than reality.
Enter Podmatch
At this point, I’ve been on Podmatch for almost a month. I’ve been a guest on two Podcasts and have four more scheduled. That’s all without promoting myself to potential hosts. That’s not bad going.
For me, as an experienced speaker, being a guest on a Podcast isn’t stressful. So, no loss. I don’t think I’m gonna die.
Will I find it beneficial? Only time will tell.
