The ‘My Everyday’ Books

Follow Ireentje, a spirited Dutch-Canadian girl with big ideas and even bigger adventures, as she stumbles, schemes, and giggles her way through the marvels and mayhem of everyday life. Think Ramona, Ivy and Bean, and Little House.

These heartwarming and entertaining slice-of-life books are set in the 1960s and are about the eldest daughter of Dutch immigrants to Canada. Children between 5 and 9 will giggle at her antics while painlessly learning about family love, obedience, courage, truthfulness, kindness, and responsibility.

They’ll also learn about marbles, wolves, babies, batons, kittens, birds, chipmunks, and bears.

Why? You’ll have to read the books to find out!

Because ordinary is never boring.

My Amazing Everyday Adventures is the history of a girl and her family. It is very interesting. I love the funny parts. I didn’t want to stop reading it because there are more and more adventures. It’s a good book! Sequels? I can’t wait to read them!
