Books for Adults
The World War II series of books are true stories about the author’s family of origin that read like fiction. Brave Face is about a half-German girl’s childhood in the occupied Netherlands. Unforgivable is about a part-Jewish boy’s childhood in the same place. It ends with the love story between the heroine of Brave Face and the hero of Unforgivable–and Caroline is the result!
